Safety Committee Training

This 8 hour training meets the WorkSafeBC regulation for new joint occupational health and safety committee (JOHSC) member training. This training will introduce new safety committee members to the basic principles of workplace health and safety. This training also serves as a great refresher course for existing experienced safety committee members. In this course participants will learn; the legal responsibilities, duties and functions of the Joint Committee, health and safety legislation, rights & responsibilities, key elements of having an effective committee and the process of evaluation, how to complete a workplace inspection and incident investigation.
